Nutrition Labeling & Database Analysis

Nutrition labeling has become a fact of life. Consumers are well aware of the nutrient values in the food they eat and your products should carry a nutrition label to remain competitive in today's marketplace. If you produce over 100,000 pounds of any one product in a years time, (sausage, bologna, jerky, etc.) you are required by law to display a nutrition facts panel.

Using the Genesis Nutrition Labeling Formulation Database, AAMP can compute nutrition facts for your products. Complete confidentiality is guaranteed. Recipe analysis by means of a database is an approved method for calculating nutritional data. The Genesis software program meets USDA and FDA criteria. Your complete analysis will include a food list, spread sheet, a camera-ready label, and a signed confidentiality agreement.

The cost per recipe analysis is $45 for AAMP members and $85 for non-members.

Legislation Requiring Nutrition Labels on all Raw Meat & Poultry Products.

Congress is now considering legislation that would require nutrition labels on all raw meat
and poultry products. USDA's Food Safety & Inspection Service is also planning rule making
on the same requirements.

Don't wait .......take advantage of the "Butcher's Dozen" .

Request "The List" of raw meat and poultry products in the database and select any 13 products. Return your selection to AAMP and receive the nutrition values for only $99 .

Your selection can include any raw beef, poultry, veal, pork or lamb item listed, with all the variations based on bone-in or boneless, product, grade or trim. You can also choose from any exotic raw product item from species that are now being considered for inspection, such as farm-raised venison, bison, ostrich, and emu.

This is a limited time offer . Even if you aren't ready to label your products, you can provide your customers with nutrition statements at the point of sale. A simple sign stating that "we have nutrition information" tells the customer that you are a professional ahead of the competition!
