Annual Convention
AAMP's annual American Convention of Meat Processors & Suppliers' Exhibition brings together meat & poultry processors from around the world, industry suppliers, academic experts and other industry professionals. It is the highlight of our association's year and a must-attend event for any AAMP member. The 86th Convention takes place in Kansas City, MO, on July 24-26, 2025. Learn More
American Cured Meat Championships (ACMC)
Held during our annual convention, the American Cured Meat Championships (ACMC) is the largest national cured meats judging event in the country. Each year, hundreds of products are entered in 29 classes, and they are evaluated by judges comprised of meat science academia and industry representatives along with fellow processor judges who have been inducted into the ACMC Cured Meats Hall of Fame. Any processor member of the American Association of Meat Processors that produces their own products, and is a registered attendee for the convention, may enter products into the ACMC. Learn More
DFV-AAMP Quality Competition for Sausage & Ham
Every three years, the German Butchers’ Association (DFV) holds a competition in Frankfurt as part of the IFFA, the world’s leading trade fair for meat processing. To aid American processors in participating, AAMP formed a partnership with the DFV in 2016 to host a “satellite” competition in the U.S. Every three years, the DFV sends its judges from the IFFA to the U.S. to evaluate products. The results from this competition will be admitted to the official results of the IFFA show in Frankfurt. Both the conduct of the competition, as well as the certificates and medals, are identical to those held during the IFFA. Learn More |
